Eko zeko i otočić
Project will be held from November 27th 2018. till July 27th 2020.
Project value is 550.543,05 HRK and EU contribution is 85% or 452.261,93 HRK.
Development of the website was co-financed by the European Union from the European Cohesion Fund.
Project goals
The implementation of this project aims to reduce the amount of municipal solid waste by 5%, collect 60% of the mass of municipal solid waste and 40% of the mass of biowaste separately and dispose of less than 25% of the mass of generated municipal solid waste.
Management of Special categories of waste
In addition to improving municipal waste management, the project aims to improve the management of special categories of waste and hazardous waste.
Remediation, supervision, education
The goal is to remediate contaminated sites, improve the information system, supervision and administrative procedures, as well as carry out informational and educational activities for all participants.

The mascot of the project, little bunny, was handed over to all kindergartens on the islands of Hvar, Vis and Šolta.
